robert burnsAlloway 1759 is a unique commemoration of the birthplace and life of Robert Burns.

Every year this festival celebrates the bard in and around Burns Cottage and the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway with a different programme of events.  As part of the weekend the ceremony also takes place to announce the winner of the prestigious Robert Burns Humanitarian Award.
